Now, you could always travel to a nearby biome to gather some food, but why should you have to do that?Īs stated earlier, cactus as it is (so far) is very useless, and making it a source of food for those spawning or living in deserts would be a nice addition. Though the base factor, that is determined by your total exp gained is ofc also very important. When spawning in a desert, gathering food resources can be very hard. I'm talking back to 2010, and so I believe that cactus is in need of improvement to make it compete more with other blocks and items.
